The extension provides image-to-text OCR inside Google Chrome: area selection, file drop or paste, on-device recognition, copy and export, optional translation, and QR or barcode detection. Features may change between versions.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use extracted text. Do not use the extension to bypass access controls, scrape data you are not allowed to copy, or process sensitive information on shared machines without appropriate care.
OCR can be inaccurate. Verify important numbers, names, and legal text before relying on output.
