Extract text from image captures
When you need to extract text from image files or page screenshots, the fastest path is usually: capture once, recognize locally, copy into your doc.
Start from the file you already have
Most workflows already end with a PNG or JPEG — a scan, a chat export, or a cropped screenshot. Drop that file into the OCR panel instead of retyping.
Use area select on live pages
If the text is still on screen, draw a rectangle over the paragraph. You skip an extra crop step in an editor.
Tidy before you paste
Enable line merging when OCR returns hard wraps. You get paragraphs that paste cleanly into email or tickets.
When capture is blocked
Some pages restrict screenshots. Save the image locally, then drop it into the panel — the same OCR path still applies.
