When the network is still used
First-time language downloads need the internet. Optional translation may call an online service with text, not necessarily the original image.
Website analytics are separate
Product pages may use Umami for visit counts. That telemetry is not the same as sending your screenshot to a cloud OCR API.
Clear local history
If you enable history, clear it inside the extension before handing off a shared machine.
